Who We Are Poem by Verilyn Titus

Though Jesus is not of the body...
He knows exactly who we are...
For He created us in his image even though He lives as He reigns from afar...
So, that we may have a choice as He did on that given day...
Whether to live a life fulfilled or one emptied by going astray...
As for me and mine they know who I am...
And living in His presence I am also aware of them...
So, even if your heavy laden, broken or in despair..
There is a God above who is ready to listen and care...
Waiting to take you to a place where He exists in our hearts, soul and mind...
Open arms to share with us what we alone can't find...
Which is a sense of who He is as a spirit, teacher and friend.
So we will come 'face to face' and hear Him say, 'Job well done my child you may enter in'.
