Who Is The Enemy Poem by Leah Ross

Who Is The Enemy

People speak of I wonder
They can be anyone someone
Even a neighbor next door
We mistake them for 8 yr olds
And pat them down at airports
It could you it could be me
Or Freddy the milk man
As far as anyone knows
Who is the enemy? ? ?
they come in all shapes, colors
Hide well amongst people
We mistake them for migrants
Anyone & everyone
The enemy could be America
Who the heck knows
