Whitered Petals Of My Life

Withered Petals of my Life

How do I restore the withered petals of my life!
When will the sunshine down on me to let me grow?

To feel the warm caress of the sun touch my face,
Washing away my tears and pain without a trace!

The nurturing that Mother Earth that makes me grow,
I reach my leaves up to sky and to catch the suns glow!

The warm gentle breeze that wraps around me,
Lets me sway back and forth so daintily!

As I emerge from the withered petals of darkness and plight,
There will be sunshine, hope, laughter and light!
