Whistle, Prior, Betrayal Poem by Raj Thampi

Whistle, Prior, Betrayal

Let us wait one more moment
Facing each other
For the whistle of our destiny

Burning needs and throbbing hearts
Passion unmasked and
Reflected in our eyes

The touches those we can feel
Without being touched
And the thirst on our dry lips

The ripping sound of cloths we long
Hissing sounds buried and screaming
Non-spoken lust, haste running in our blood

My mind finding an escape
From the weight of a silver ring
And your acceptance I understood in our silence

Our sense of morals on bargain
Our sensual needs overwhelming
Let us wait for the final whistle
Whistle to accomplish a perfect betrayal
