Which One Would You Choose? Poem by Layla Stone

Which One Would You Choose?

Rating: 5.0

Seeing, hearing, smelling,
Tasting and touching.
If you had to select a sense to lose,
Which one would you choose?
Seeing?
Your world empty like a prison,
Never again to see the face of a loved one.
WHICH ONE WOULD YOU CHOOSE?
Hearing?
Your world droned by silence,
Never again to hear a spoken sentence.
WHICH ONE WOULD YOU CHOOSE?
Smelling?
Your world unexciting and boring,
Never again to smell food cooking.
WHICH ONE WOULD YOU CHOOOSE?
Tasting?
Your world tasting of nothing but bland air,
Never again to taste flavor and flare.
WHICH ONE WOULD YOU CHOOSE?
Touching?
Your world lacking all feelings,
Never again to feel harsh pain or soft caressing.
SO, WHICH ONE WOULD YOU CHOOSE?

wow. I have no clue which one I would choose. However, I am sure that if I did lose any of them I would instantly wish it was a different one. Great job with this poem. You make your point and drive it home using repitition. This is a question that will be stuck in my head for a long time now. WHICH ONE WOULD I CHOOSE?
