its funny how it works
as soon as you manage to reach
the light at the end of the dark and lonely tunnel
the rocks come tumbling down and cover you exit...

i yearn for happiness!
i want it and i want it now!

i miss how the sun would shed some light
on me so i can smile
i miss how the flowers would dance and sway in
the wind to comfort me
i miss how the stars would burn with light
to give me courage to go on

i miss being happy....
as to it misses me and my smile
my joy
my laughter
my smile
my energy

where is it now?
where can i find it?
when can i have it back?
when will you give it back?
why dont you give it back?
why do you get amusement from my frown?
