Where Are You Heading Friend?

Do you know where you're heading friend?
Whilst on your road of life
Where do you think, one day to end
Beyond earth's trials and strife

Beyond this time, this present age
While facts, waken clear
When reality turns truth's page
To joy, peace or fear

Eternity stands naked fore
Knowledge, opens all eyes
Seeing both Heaven and hell's door
Beyond earth's realm of lies

Twixt birth and death on arduous quest
However long life's while
Regard each journey as Heaven's test
Each thought, word, deed, a trial

'Too late, too late' will countless cry
At such tremendous cost
Thinking, believing, once we die
Nothing but life is lost

Though selfish, wicked was one's time'
Festooned with shameful sins
Denying Christ and any crime
Till judgment day begins

Standing before all seeing light
Without Jesus support
Quaking profusely, stunned with fright
Hearing each sad report

Before we end life's trying way
We need to understand
We need The living Christ today
Within His guiding hand.....
