Where Are Those Who Aren't Anymore? Poem by Elena Daniela

Where Are Those Who Aren't Anymore?

I asked the wind, that blows so high,
The trotter that shifts the clouds in the sky
Toward the blue-eyed edges of the world:
Where are those who aren't anymore?
Where are those who aren't anymore?

The wind said: Their unseen wings
Are strongly pulling up my strings.

I asked the skylark, enlighten bird,
The candle flickering unheard
The oil of a holy song once more:
Where are those who aren't anymore?
Where are those who aren't anymore?

The skylark said: They are sheltered
Beyond the light that has never been measured.

I asked the owl, with the spherical eye,
The blind that sees in the darkness of the sky
The mysteries of the word, beyond and more:
Where are those who aren't anymore?
Where are those who aren't anymore?

The owl said: When the darkness, that frightens,
Will shatter and heighten, you will get enlighten.
