Whenever I Think Of Christ! Poem by Raghurama Raju

Whenever I Think Of Christ!

Whenever I think of Christ,
I think of a lean man in his
late twenties or early thirties!
I think of a man with
a long cloth draped around his shoulders,
I think of a man with long arms,
long nose and long hair reaching
his chest,
I think of a man with big
eyes endlessly pouring love,
I think of a man with a
little lamb held to his chest,
I think of a man who never
married because he was too busy
loving the whole mankind,
I think of a man who never
cheered or cried because he was
beyond human emotions,
I think of a man who was never
worriedabout the thorns under
his feet or upon his head,
I think of a man whose birth
commenced an era,
I think of a man whose plain
words became a religion,
I think of a man who didn't live
long but whose words would do,
I think of mankind which troubles
a great man when he lives with
them and worships him when he does not
live with them!
