When You Give Up Your Past Self
When you die to yourself-
you give up your past-
You are now one with God
finally at last.
For you die to your old way of life
no more fear, pain and strife.
For God chose you before the beginning
of time-
You live life with Him in the divine.
Reborn in the spirit
with God's mercy and grace
You will get to see God
one day face to face.
