When You Came By Poem by Marvin Tordillos

When You Came By

Before you came, I only wish I could die
Before you came, there was no stars in the sky
Before you came, there was nothing but a sigh
But now that you’re here I can do nothing but to smile.

I live in sorrow everyday
But that was all gone when you came by and stay
You help me conquer the sadness that I couldn’t take
You make me realize that my living here was no mistake.

You rescued me when I was on fire
You rescued me when I was sinking in the mire
You comfort me when I was about to cry
And you rescued me from a nightmare I though I’d never survive.

No words can thank you for what you’ve done
But thank you Alice, Alice from Wonderland
For loving me most, no one could have done
I’ll love you forever until the end of time.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Well guess what, I am just so happy when I wrote this poem, that day I was able to meet her again. Because we only meet once a year; we are both studying in college and are both scholars, I don't know I just feel happy when I see her, every problem seemed to vanish back then, I totally lost track of time, and I stared and stared at her only...Well probably I'll meet her again next year and hope that next year I would have the courage to tell her how I feel! <3.
