When You Become An Outsider.... Poem by RIC BASTASA

When You Become An Outsider....

enclosed in such
a cold room, you
find it easy to
say that the world
is such a comfort,
until you go outside
the door and walk under
the sun, face the dust,
and bask in such

a place that they
call hell.
