When She Could Ask For Sky Poem by Pradip Chattopadhyay

When She Could Ask For Sky

Rating: 5.0

In pouring rain
We entered the fair

For no gain
One odd pair

Beneath a sodden tent!

One small thing
Caught her eyes

And her wing
She couldn't disguise

In that sweet moment!

Asked her why
When she could ask for sky

And I was ready!

Said her tears
For many years

I craved a teddy!
