When I'M Gone (C) 2-21-2011

Maybe after I die you should burn incense
And see if the smoke drifts away in an instance
Just know that that means I’m finally free from the evil and the such
That finally I broke away and escaped the devil’s clutch
No longer worryin about any of the pressures
No longer seen as lesser to the man
But singled out as God’s treasure
I always figured that I was a favorite seein as I begin his word
I am Genesis and “In the beginning” is the first statement I heard
I guess it’s pseudo ironic that my burdens are strong
But I was given a strong mind and a sword twenty feet long
I don’t see any of it as a curse but a weight I must carry
To show my strength and that I’ve overcame my adversary
