What You Did To Me.... Poem by RIC BASTASA

What You Did To Me....

i have given much,
even much than i can keep,
but look

to you i am still the symbol
of greed
and deceit,

our reunions had been fruitless,
you and all of you still
make the rules of this game

and the one whom you decide
to be good and famous
always wins.

such a mob decision never pleased me.
and so i go back to where i belong.
i never fit what was in your mind.
and i belong to someone else
to their society

in the kingdom of the clouds,
in the freedom of the air,
fenced by such infinit space
in the silence of the galaxies.
