What Was Already Within Us

There are things that you do not now know
There are things that you will never know
There are things that you will come to know
It is not of the knowing
Rather, it is our capacity to love
That will come to illuminate us
That in the end
Will come to restore us
And
End our centuries of striving
For what was already within us
