What's To Be Said Poem by Kindred velarde

What's To Be Said

In a matter of time I've learned who I've become.
I wish no longer to bare a life of pain, my secret can no longer stay.

The faces that I have seen have always been the same, but now they're beginning to change.
Beware if you pass here, you'll to not want to return till the day I burn.

These words I've dreaded saying for as long as I can remember. At least now I won't have to fight for the wrong side, to keep my secret hidden.

These words I have dreaded, no it won't bring me fame, but at least I have no shame.
The last thing I have to say that is, that I am gay.
