What Is A Poet? Poem by Bob House

What Is A Poet?

Rating: 4.0

A farmer of feelings
Tending the fields of untold dreams
Harvesting emotions
And bottling silent screams
A painter of language
And sculptor of written word
A teller of tales
And stories unheard
A director of films
Played on paper with pen
Scripted and acted
By phrases but then
Often misquoted
Or missed until dead
Or even worse still
Having never been read.

I like this one, the second line needs a tweek, I would loose, the from between tending and fields, but I am no expert. Well written.
