have patience
just keep on loving

keep on loving
and then keep on singing
too, "what's love got to
do with it? "

and keep on dancing after
that wild singing
under the lights in that
lonely dance, keep on singing
still, "what's love got to do
with all these? "

the flesh is shouting
it has needs that you must
fulfill
let it be, let it be
in the silence and patience
of the soul

tonight and on the other nights
or in daybreaks
let the soul sing, let it sing
"alleluiah! alleluiah! "
what grace is this that
amazes me?
