What Fable? Poem by jane heart

What Fable?

Rating: 2.5

Haunting still my flavour
and repose -
a remembered story of the shackle
and rose.
It sticks and frustrates
The end is replete but the body is
uncomposed.
Only the flower
shows promise as the marvellous chains
deliver faint pain.
