Werewolves Of London Calling Police Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Werewolves Of London Calling Police

Rating: 4.5

Once the songs were played
You hadn't listened
You played your damn songs
I tried to listen

You were paralyzed
Both mind and body
Communication
Ceased from both parties

Mexican stand-off
In this damn dive bar
Silence still waiting
For the damn police

Bullets shooting up sky
Halloween waiting now
WEREWOLVES OF LONDON blaring
Damn cops hear the screaming

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Dedicated to all victims of abuse. As a former social worker, I had seen so much of it. As a civilized society, it's high time we put an end to the cycle of abuse.
