Work is work, it might get you down
Do laugh, do smile or giggle like a clown
Pull off or kick away your shoes
Life changes with whatever you choose.

Keep cool in the shades
or get some shuteye
get a tan in the sun
or take off for a run.

Don't grumble, gripe with a perpetual frown
Be with friends, bake a cake or watch Charlie Brown
If you love the sun remember to block
Sunscreen SPF 50 spread it and lock

Go to a paradise, a beautiful island
A tropical lowland or coolest highland
Go with a friend or with someone dear
The weekend is coming, it's so very near!
