Wedding trees
(Jasmine and Oak)
Jasmine tree bows low her branches,
in sweet and gentle courtesy;
Her wind blown leaves are left to chances,
Her wild boughs let down naturally.
Beside her, Oak stands tall and strong,
and vows to tend her in his shade;
No matter what may come along,
Together in life's verdant glade.
Jasmine crowned with wreaths of stars,
white and pure with heady scents;
Evening's Queen of all the flowers,
all that beauty represents.
How wonderful to grow together
in calm as well as stormy weather!
