Wealthy In Christ

The world’s content in running wild
Fickle and fancy free
But Jesus wants her reconciled
Through such as you and me

Christ’s bride is rich beyond compare
More wealth than king or queen
We’ve each enough the world to share
Treasures as yet unseen

When each has fought their self within
Where Satan’s had his way
Where hindered is our wayward sin
Where Christ has won the day

This life’s a war, a testing ground
Where Satan loves to roam
But never can his realm be found
Where Christ has made His home

Where Christ God’s Lamb becomes our Door
God’s Fire becomes our wall
Salvation’s rain begins to pour
And Satan’s realm will fall

For man gives Satan all his powers
He’s impotent without
But then life’s crown again is ours
When faith takes place of doubt

When on the cross Christ won the war
Life’s keys He gave His bride
We’ve health we’ve wealth and so much more
The devil’s tried to hide

Its time the world should understand
Its time to start anew
Its time to walk as Jesus planned
And join God’s chosen few…
