We Were Once There Before



on a moonlit night
the shadows of the coconut trees
and the grasses
and the hut come to my mind
again

and i exclaim
how beautiful are these simple things

above them
purple clouds like a cape
beside a pearl moon
above it
a tiny star like
diamond
