Lets lay down in the ashes
Lets watch the rain pour
Lets breathe in each other
Till we can't breathe anymore
Lets kiss the sky
Lets fall in love with the stars
Lets give up on forever
Cuz this is who we are
We're broken shadows
Left hiding in the dark
We're lonely breaths of wind
Flying through the park
Pushing past the empty souls
Their smiles long past gone
They haven't found the peace they need
They still can't carry on
So can you blame me
If I were to say
That I never felt
Okay anyway
So lets lay down in the ashes
