We've all been hurt
One way or another
At some time or the other
Physically or mentally
In the past or in the present
Or perhaps in the future
We will be
Hurt in some way...
Is this God's doing
Is He testing our resilience
In His unique style
Or is it simply something
We bring upon ourselves
We build the traps in which
We ensnare our beings
We spin spider webs
In which we get stuck...
The trick is to stay sane
And carry on
For we have no choice
But to move onwards and upwards
Towards our goal
Of complete salvation
Of our soul
