We Stand In Awe Poem by David Harris

We Stand In Awe

The moon slips across the sky
on a cloudless night
as the stars wink at one another
saying everything is all right.
The fireflies dance
as soon as darkness descends
with an amusing firework display.
These wonders our eyes behold
as every evening falls
and we stand in awe of it all.
