What ever happened to the good old days?
When we learned as kids to look both ways
What ever happened when children could go out and play?
Today we've learned when it comes to kids there is no way.
What ever happened to our peace of mind?
I guess we need to be more weary of all mankind.
What ever happened to hope?
Because without hope, how can we cope.
I hope you reflect on my questions and think.
That our life will be over faster than you can blink.
Until that time we still live in hope.
Just live for the moment by jumping a rope.
So, what ever happened to the good old days?
Stop thinking about the danger and look for the sun rays!
Hope shines like a diamond up in the sky above.
And let's show mankind we're all capable of unconditional love.
