We Choose What To Believe In
I think
If Love be imposed
We all be slaves
No voice to say no
Just robots
Working to fulfill mandatory objectives
Programmed to please
Breaking our backs
Because we have no choice
But,
We have a voice
We get to choose
We get to embrace love
And if it suits us,
We get to denounce it
Then seek something more befitting
Of our love
Our time
Our praise
We get to choose our truths
We make our beds
