I understand that most of us are stressed out and sad,
Because things are falling apart and driving us mad,
Because of broken relationships and dead end jobs that we hate,
Because of the things we have to put up with to put food our plate,

Our lives are getting tough and the economy isn't doing too well,
Prices of property have sky rocketed and the value of labour drastically fell,
We are a generation of people struggling to make sense of our life,
While being pressured by our families to find a husband/wife,

It is easy to give in and break down under all the pressure and frustration,
It is easy to be consumed by the shadows of our doubt and hesitation,
We often question our existence, we question our meaning in this world,
Without realising we are the world to our parents who have raised us as a boy/girl,

I understand things are getting bad but we have to fight and stand our ground,
We have to keep trying while there is strength within us to be found,
We have to fix our broken wings, our fears and doubts we must remove,
We have to motivate ourselves, we must give ourselves a reason to improve,

We have our youth and strength, there is so much untapped potential within,
There is swirling energy within our souls that lightly radiates from our outer skin,
We cannot give in, we must not let fear, depression and doubt cloud our mind,
We must rise up against the odds so that happiness and success we will inevitably find!
