We All Have Compromises....
in this life
there will always be
compromises
i could have gotten
you but i did not,
or i think i got your body
but never your
heart
it is too tiring and stressing
and disappointing
why should i deserve
only your lips and not
the beating of
your heart?
i love the truth
not its shadow
i compromised and so
i got myself instead,
as my friend, as my
lover,
and
so i live happily
ever after.

Compromising with self is definitely very amazing and self satisfactory. Living happily is aim of life. This poem is brilliantly penned.
