We all are modern teachers
With some certain features
We have a good will like chanakya
We have disciples like Chandragupta
About us there is only one pity
Like Chanakya we haven't liberty
We all are modern teachers
We know understanding is ever better
Than cramming useless facts
Yet we encourage such acts
Our students then like parrots repeat
Just for few digits on marksheet
We all are modern teachers
We are expected not to commit blunders
For we are greater than stupid Edison
Who committed thousand mistakes
Just to invent a petty electric bulb
But we perhaps belong to gods' club
We all are modern teachers
Better than ancient gurus
For they could make only human beings
But we make professionals sans feelings
Who being successful settle abroad
Just leaving for ever their living god
We all are modern teachers
We are too one link in the chain
That started from ancients gurus
But we were asked to choose
Either be emotional or professional
And in the last one we took sense
And it brought the whole difference
