The way it hurt
That day of goodbye
Not wanting to go
To leave those i cared for behind

The ache upon my heart
That flies like a trigger
When your name is mentioned
Upon someone's conversation

How it reminds me
Reminds me of what
We once had
The way we cared

So many memories
Flash upon my mind
When i stare at our picture
One i couldn't Hide

The love we had now gone
Not one day have i smiled
Since the day you left me
Left me shattered in pieces
Wondering why i wasn't enough

How you told me you loved me
Now you don't even speak to me
The pictures of us, that sits
Sits upon my window sill

I look at it day after day
Wiping tears from my eyes
As i look to the sky
Thinking of you, and the love
The love i still hold for you

You may say you don't care
You may say it's over
Yet you don't realize
True love last forever.
