Water Thoughts Poem by Kevin Parkin

Water Thoughts

Rating: 5.0

The flowers bobbed
across the water,
helping her to attain
a trance-like
Dreamworld.
Her mind reached through
like the gentle rays
of sunlight,
filtered into the water
in a broken pattern.
Eye's closed and
head thrown back
to accept
the gently soothing
embrace of the wind.
Taken through an eternity
of Time
to another world far below,
and the single tear ran
down her cheek, into
her mouth
where it mingled with the
salt spray whipped
up
with each
breath of wind.
