Life can get stale,
But do we want it to?
Living behind a dark veil,
No thought from where it grew
Eventually everyone stops talking,
As there's nothing more to say
Attempts at love keep stalling,
Then get completely put away
Love is taken for granted,
Remembrances of being romantic

All I want to do is walk along the beach with you,
Holding your hand in silence
All I want to do is sit in the sand with you,
Holding you tight, without trying

All I want to do,
Is watch the waves with you
Watching the waves,
