Watch The Autumn Leaves Fall Poem by Max Soon

Watch The Autumn Leaves Fall

Watch the autumn leaves fall,
So gracefully, carried by the wind.
Dead they may be,
But death takes naught their golden beauty.

Watch the autumn leaves fall,
Onto a young couple under the tree.
Kisses and caresses, whisper and giggles,
Hand in hand, marking the tree with their love.
This budding love, that binds the two hearts into one.

Watch the autumn leaves fall,
Onto a baby learning to walk.
For the baby each step a challenge,
For the parents each step a satisfaction.
Hand in hand still, the lovely couple,
Just an extra, in the middle.

Watch the autumn leaves fall,
Onto a wrinkled old couple.
One on a wheel chair, the other behind it.
They were silent, because love needs no words,
Just the presence, sweet presence of the loved.

Watch the autumn leaves fall,
Onto an old man with pale silver hair.
His hands touching the tree, the mark that was once there.
His tears streamed, but not of sorrow.
Because dead she may be,
But death, does not take away the lover's beauty.
