Was It Worth It? Poem by Trinidad Villafranca

Was It Worth It?

Rating: 5.0

After you walked out did you ever stop to think was it worth it?
I cant remember moms lullaby she left because she couldnt do it alone.
You both left and didnt even stop to say goodbye.
Crying wondering was every one went.
15 years later afraid of being alone.
Still afraid of the unknown.
Looking back on years of fading memories.
All the laughs caught and reminded through photographs.
Still in all my memories some how your still a part of me.

Youre my reminder to never lie.
Youre my reminder to never cry.
Youre my reminder to never let my guard down.
Youre my reminder to make a sound in silence.
Youre my reminder of who not to trust
who not to love.
Who not to be.
Youre a reminder of the other half of me.

To parents that forgot me.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

'Thou' we're apart, you're part of me still..' Mrs Villafranca is a very good poet and is worth of this Fats Domino's song.
