Warning, The Left Is Not Your Friend
We're killing the World
And Ourselves!
So much greed,
So much lying,
And amongst, all the trouble frying,
We can see the Hate,
Promoted by the devils
That anticipate,
The fall of Democracy.
The devils that speak for 'the common good'
In a thunder bolt of 'Hypocrisy'
When all they care about is Power for themselves,
And perpetuating, blurred futures by no one understood.
Pray and pray hard that there
May be some Robin Hood, amongst this madness
That will save the World from Hell
And all it's bitter sadness,
That there never come the day
When you can say
Once we had Democracy, but not today!
Don't think your brand will be any better. Totalitarianism is the same, no matter what you call it!
Beautiful poem based on patriotic.How people are going to destroy the world and some of them are trying to hack the power have been touchingly painted. Appropriate penmanship. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with your emotional tone of desperate hope almost smothered in despair. But I stopped reading newspapers and watching TV news programs rather than sinking deeper into despair. We MUST preserve our access to joie de vivre. Economic systems are inherently unfair; capitalism needs consummers, not citizens. Socialism promises more than it delivers. What isn't a dead end? There are just too many people on the planet and the politics of today will not effect justice. I've been re-reading THOREAU this summer; he give you hope, he is the Just Man the planet needs
