War Is... Poem by C Jay Caputo

War Is...

War is…

War is certain death
Every in hail is your last breath
War is hate
War is what the government creates
War is unknowing
Bullets louder than a 747 Boeing
War is a sharp knife
War is taking your own life
War is a loaded gun
War is proof of the animal a man can become
War is propaganda, war is lies
The battlefield is wear hope, goes and dies
War ruff livin'
War is giving into fascism
War is pure fight
Shove a magazine in an M16 and pull the trigger tight
War is taking some else's land
Gun in hand, dead bodies in the sand
War is not pride
War is a good reason to go and hide
War unjustly killing a man after you beat him
War is not liberty, NOR IS IT FAUGHT FOR FREEDOM
War is casualties
Veterans jumping off of balconies
War is not wisdom
War is post dramatic stress syndrome
War is not fought to free the oppressed
Troops know this and it leaves them depressed
War is not the answer
War is sickening, war is cancer
War is a mindset
Images one cannot forget
War is not peace
War just leaves men disease
War going on at home
War cannot be fought by one man alone
War is bloody eyes
War is hearing civilian's cries
War is shouting to sky
War is questioning
War is WHY
War is bloody hands
Running so long that you have bloody thighs
War is no respect
Corporations is what you protect
War is just anger
War is killing a stranger
War is taking innocent people and putting them in danger
War is savage
War is telling a father his dead son is collateral damage
War is mass slaughter
Dying for your country does not make you a martyr
War consist of puppets
Good man being carried off in buckets
War
War is something
War
War is good for nothing
