Walking My Own Road Poem by Ronald Chapman

Walking My Own Road

I keep my head up and look where I am going.
I walk my own road.

I love to walk.

I walk spring, winter, summer and fall.
Walking chases my tears away.

Walking is so much fun.
Looking at the beautiful scenes,
Gives me new and wonderful dreams!

I take pictures.

Walking gives me serotonin,
Endorphins and other happy drugs.
Walking gives me a 'runner's high."

Walking,
Reduce stress,
Wards off anxiety and feelings of depression,
Boost self-esteem,
Makes me sleep.

Walking is like magic.
It makes my fatty fat disappear.
