She is smiling
Raising her fingers into the V sign of her time
Moving on
Ready for the next chapter
In her book of life
Her precious
Velvet covered
Gold lettered
Book of life
Her delicate fingers
Wrapped around its edges
Frayed a bit from age and use
Her book
Her life
Her right
to move on
in victory
Never bowed
nor humbled
She seeks
