Walking Alone 2 Poem by Poemahontas Poemadonna

Walking Alone 2

Walking alone
I recovered myself
Not on my own
I discovered God's help

I was viewed as troubled
Heart weighing heavy
Alcohol doubled
All the time, steady

It's Satan I'm Facing
But my God's in control
While fighting temptations
God's protecting my soul

Now I can see the signs
The darkness had me blind
I'll search until I find
No mountain I can't climb

The Lord guides my way
Whenever I leave home
Today, everyday
I've never walked alone

Ardent lines written with reverence and feeling… Fervent references to religious symbolism and a will to fight back…nice poem with clear cut lines liked
