For so long, I've been sitting here all alone
Waiting for someone, for somebody to come along
I keep on crying and it seems I've forgotten how to stop
All this time, catching and counting every drop

I've lost number of how many tears reached the floor
Yet somehow, still, no one walks through the door
How much longer will I have to wait
Will someone even come before its too late

I keep wishing and hoping that something might happen
But inside me I know, I've already been forgotten
Who would even comeback and try to bother
Return for a girl they don't even remember

It seems that the cruel fates have decided long ago
To keep me here and die without anyone to know
Yet, I'm still hoping that someone will come along
Waiting for someone to comfort me and keep me strong
