Waiting Poem by crybaby clark

Waiting

Rating: 4.0

Here I waited, for minutes, hours, that turned into days, weeks
and then to years,
feeling like an eternity,
alone - yes, but never lonely,
fears!
NO!
I could be happy to be left alone,
when the only other choice was to be in the company of just anyone,
I did not search, I merely looked in passing,
always keeping one eye on the sun,
hoping to catch sight of something in between,
for a moment I saw a reflection in a star,
but it had not seen me.
So I resign myself to fate,
for the next few minutes, hours, days and
weeks,

Ill wait!
ill wait!
ill wait
