Vulnerable Symbol
What was once a flag of honor
Has become a flag to disgrace.
Ignorance has stained its colors,
Historical significance has been replaced
With contempt for what it stands for,
Sacrifices that have made it grand,
Our red, white and blue flag
In under siege across this land,
