Visit Poem by Marilyn Jean

Visit

I was clearing
For the painter's work
All day
And kept wondering
Will you ever visit me
I would love this
I have nothing to hide
To my friend
We would talk, smile and laugh
Have tea and feel loved
Gently
Once you did it in a dream
You do so much once in there
In my dreams
Our happiness, this love
Maybe next year or sooner
When the roses bloom again
It takes so long to wait
Longing for you again
With love
