Village Road Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Village Road

Rating: 5.0

The day's dazzle has reflected light,
The road is clearly visible,
Destination is made with certainty,
Principle of living is taught by trees,
Houses and trees have stood beside road,
Beside the shadow of a boundary wall
A goat is watching the wall with emotion,
A bicycle is kept near a gate of a house,
Under a roof of a house a man is standing
And he is looking at the rood in joy,
Two bullocks are pulling a cart,
A father and son both with this cart
They are going to forest to collect wood.

An euphoria is noted by father
He is looking at the wild flowers
Which have bloomed beside this road,
The fragrance is inhaled in love,
A bullock cart's sound is heard,
This road has a turn towards town,
Passing through forest and mountains,
This road reflects joy of village!
