Varia Poem by Jeffrey Stultz

Varia

Varia

Empress of Enchantment,
Magical, mystical monarch,
Majestic goddess of the spring,
Ruler of the realm of Dreams.

Her beauty is glorious,
like Venus shimmering in the indigo dawn;
her voice the sweetest
sighing siren song,
played feather light
upon a faerie flute.

O shining star,
with laurel crowned,
both near and far,
her virtues are renowned.

Surely God the king hath blessed,
and lavished on him divine largesse,
the greatest treasure the world has seen,
is grace and beauty incarnate
in the queen.
