Vampires Poem by Nikki Zurbano

Vampires

She won't ease your pain
And doesn't ease your strain.
In vain, she'll be waiting
For a prey who's coming.

They're taking it slow
While playing the game
In every row.

Spine ablaze
and steadily emerging w/ grace
they step out in twilight
And like a predator, fight

Some have found a home & oplaces in the world
Others not;
For they violently fought
In the dark w/ grace.

Falling forward a gaze
with thirst & will like fire
Fire ablaze
Comes a vampire.
